How are sector types determined?

Each sector's type is a data-driven estimate, not an official land-use designation. It is based on: (1) Dynamic World / ESA land-cover shares from the stored GEE infrastructure records (built-up %, cropland %, tree cover %), used as the primary signal for Residential, Agricultural/Undeveloped, or Green/Park zones; and (2) the share of nearby Google Places amenities (government offices, shops/banks/restaurants, schools/colleges) that are clearly dominant, used to flag Government, Commercial, or Educational hubs. Sectors without a strong signal default to Residential & Mixed-Use.
